Kjell Nupen (born 5 September 1955 in Kristiansand, Norway) is a Norwegian painter and sculptor.[1] He has decorated a number of public spaces, including a large sculpture park and fountain plants, Søm Church, and painting collections in the Caledonian Hotel in Kristiansand.
Nupen is a graduate of the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts and Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and came into contact with political artist community. One of Nupens characteristic is the special shade of blue called "Nupen-blue." He paints non-figurative.
